Project
name: Global Warming;
Main theme: Seeking reasons and effects of climate change (what
is global warming?); Sharing ideas, experiences and gathering information about
the problem; looking for solutions and being aware of how People effect on the
nature. How to prevent future damages
caused by climate change.
Importance
of the project:
The whole world is aware of the problem. All scientists and authorities of
political organizations such as EU , NATO are concerned and do their best for its solution , but climate change is still inevitable at
the moment .
Main aims of
the project: It’s important to
let our learners be aware and ready to face the problem. Give them opportunity
to do some research by getting and sharing information , seeking the reasons and effects of climate
change, realizing responsibility connected to protection of the nature ,
looking for solutions/prevention of increasing the problem. Thus mentioned
above will help our students to develop
communicative skills . They will gain knowledge and enrich their lexis of
English developing both receptive and productive skills, will be motivated to
learn science, will promote integration
of different subjects and help them to
become independent /autonomous learners
Age group: 10-15
Project period(s) 1 month
Expected results/products that can be created: Presentation, Blog; Virtual communication will be established among the
pupils using foreign language and the services of internet-translating /
gathering/sorting the information.
